34 weeks

Thank you Shanna for this very special sweet gift. Shanna, who I meet through Jessica and now know her better then ever thanks to the blog world sent us this bulletin filled with fun pictures from my blog and my friend's blogs. Thank you so much! I love it! It is perfect! Now I need your address :).
The house is almost complete, but to the unknowing person it is complete and I could not be happier. Some people say it feels like a beach house inside and I would have to agree. We love the beach, we love the mountains, now we have both, well sort of I know Worth wishes he could surf right out our door.
At 34 weeks:
~i can still see my feet (some books tell me that i might not be able to)
~i can't wait to sleep on my stomach!
~sleeping is getting more uncomfortable
~i can still work out and walk, but it is getting harder
~rainy is getting used to life
~i am ready for BellaRose to be here to get this started, but want her to stay in a little longer
~i have 6 weeks to go but the longest i will be pregnant is 8 weeks-yikes!
~the car seat is in my car ready to go (we have no where else to put it)
~i have to go to a meeting at the Agency Field office to learn something about Homeowners insurance even though i won't be here that much longer (oh well)
~my boss gave me the morning off yesterday and it was WONDERFUL!
~my trunk is filled with size 2 diapers (thanks Annie)
~the nursery is done, the closet is filled
~the diaper bag is packed, and my bag is getting closer
~i can't eat a whole lot b/c there is no room, she is so high up she kicks my ribs ALL the time
~i have read 2 books on discipline and we are now reading a book on sleeping and eating called On Becoming BabyWise (i expect to be an expert soon)
~i forget things a lot, like words, and things like that, hopefully that comes back :)
~i CAN'T WAIT to have a cold beer!
~life is pretty darn good!!!!

You sound very prepared. I like the picture board, it is great! I love that the car seat is already in the car, well I guess that is where it goes, this way your car can get used to it.:) Have fun at the homeowners meeting maybe you should say you are going and really come to lunch with us,ahaha I'm a homeowner does that count?

yes it totally should count becky. i need to tell them that i wrote the policy on the swann's house and that she said i did not need to come. i think they will understand. believe me i would much rather come to lunch then sit in a VERY cold office building!

Well then there we go what's he gonna do fire you? Who would fire a 34 weeker? ;)

I read the BabyWise book too. It was good, and a little stricter than the Healthy Sleep, Happy Baby book. We did a combo of the two approaches. I love the belly shot--you look great! We're glad you liked the gift--it didn't "hold" things like it was supposed to, so if you add to it, you might want to stick a little tape on the back :) our address is 240 mcgregor woods rd, chapel hill 27517

what is the official due date?

Wow, what a transformation! Everything...the house, your state of mind, your belly poking out, and the upcoming adventure you are about to embark upon. Life is "pretty darn good" and it has all come together in HIS timing. As you have been making the physical preperations, God has been preparing your heart. It is going to be great!

Sunday the house looks AMAZING!! And you seem so prepared and ready for Bella Rose! I'm very impressed not that I ever doubted you would be an excellent Mom! I can't wait to meet her! Love, Courtney

Great job with the reading! I am impressed. . . I never got around to reading anything before I had Hanna. . . it was all just a blur. You sound prepared. P.S. Has anyone told you to get little hand mittens for Bella Rose at the hospital? I didn't know until one of my friends gave me a pair. I thought babies came out with short finger nails. Who knew that they could have long fingernails that might scratch their face as soon as they are born. (very odd. . . smile) That was a helpful fact for me! -Jes

Ok, I'm finally able to check the blogs again, I've been out of the computer world for a while.
I love this entry. All the details will be so funny to read after you've had her for a while. That's how my journal was for me, it's hilarious.
You are so much more prepared that I was.
Will is so excited to meet Bella Rose, he told me that this morning.
I read that book and Healthy Sleep happy Child and also did a combo of both like Jessica.

WoW! Is that the same house!?! It looks awesome! I can't wait to see it and you and Worth and Bella Rose in person soon! You've got a beer on me...at least that's something I can do for you because the baby advice just isn't going to happen...except that you seem completely prepared and I know you're going to be a wonderful wonderful mom!

why do you have to stop reading it? nineteen minutes is good so far, but i was watching primal fear the movie and there was a line from the movie that she uses in the book. is that copy right issues or what?

AHHHHHHHHH! I totally commented and it totally diappeared.

Worth should come up here to Grand Rapids where he and Mitch can do a little Great Lakes surfing right out their back door. He'd be shocked at the waves we get. On a LAKE.

The house looks FANtastic. Good job, folks.
