Big Time

I am pretty sure we like to subject BellaRose to extreme weather conditions to see how she handles it. I know you people up North and out West would not think that 30 degree weather is extreme, but for us here, it is COLD! Our little towns Christmas parade is a highlight for me this time of year. I am not sure why I love it, because there is nothing amazing happening and the "floats" are just people throwing candy at us, which is mainly peppermints, but it just feels so small town and cozy. I kept asking BellaRose if she wanted to leave and she kept telling me no, even though she was literally shaking. Girlfriend likes the small town too I guess. I think that her hand was frozen to her mouth with her lollipop. I so wish we had a picture of that, but we don't. We also don't have a picture of our Annual Christmas Vacation Christmas party either. My house looked so cute too! We did not watch the movie on the side of the house this year for many reasons, one being IT WAS SO COLD! The party was low key this year and a blast. Thank you all!!

Our cute little town and our Big Time Christmas Parade.

We didn't drive out for the parade this year and I made a point to keep that a secret from the boys. They remember the amount of candy they collected last time around and would have been sad to know they were missing that. I think Black Mtn sets a record for throwing out candy!

You have love small towns, ours isn't all that small but feels like. No xmas parade probably cause of the cold. We do have Henry Fords Greenfield Village where we do get a parade and old time xmas...Went Sat enjoyed.
Love the look on her face...."just one more please""

Small towns are the best. BRosey's tolerance of the cold is going to work in her favor when she becomes a pro boater like her Daddy. I can see it now!

I love the BM Christmas parade and I love the Grant Christmas Vacation Christmas Party. No pictures?!? I'll let it slide. 30 degrees is cold. I took Noah for a walk in it today -- it was 32. I had him in a bundle me and his big fleece hat, it was hilarious! BR is a trooper. If she ever wants to be in a Sugar Mtn commercial for snowboarding like her momma, she's got to get used to it! Nostalgic post, loved it.
