2010

2010 promises to be a big year for us, if for no other reason, than the welcoming of Hollings into our family, which of course is plenty of excitement for one year. We have BellaRose completely moved into her big girl, and now we just need to reset up the nursery and complete the big girl room and we will be ready. Do you guys realize I have 8 weeks left, well I will say 9 weeks since BellaRose was late and I am just going to put that in my head. I think it will make life easier for me that way. It is hard to believe we are in a new decade and that Worth has been my "other" for 10 years. Yes we have had ups in downs in those many years, but we have come a long way and have established a good life here in the mountains.
I don't like to make resolutions. They lead to let down and disappointment but I do like to make goals. I have my photographic goals: to double what I made last year, to really learn lighting, to buy a iMac desktop computer with the income earned from photography, to be viewed as an artist. Personal goals: to raise BellaRose and Hollings up as good sweet people (this is really a lifetime goal), to lose the baby weight (yes I am thinking about that already), to not be completely rocked by having a newborn like I was with BellaRose. I know it will be hard and very tiresome, but I know going out of the house will be easier, it has to be right, I mean I have done it before I can do it again!

32.5 weeks pregnant. Yes I still have my tree up, it is the 2nd of January. Moving the tree out would allow me to move the recliner out of BellaRose's room and be on our way to completing the room, but you guys know how I am with my tree. This years tree is literally PERFECT! It will of course be moved out on the deck next to the igloo so I can enjoy it undecorated for a little bit longer. My tree just makes me so happy, I could not stand for it to be tossed aside like it did not bring us great joy throughout the season. Maybe tomorrow.......

losing the baby weight? are you serious? I was that big at like 4 mo- you are tiny!!!! Hollings must be a peanut or you just aren't eating everything in sight like I did! By the way I love that picture- BR looks priceless!

You look so tiny for 32.5 weeks and I love that picture. I think that's how big I was at 20 weeks. 2010 is going to be an amazing year for the Grant's with adding a baby and all the new jobs I know you are going to get. And thanks for your sweet comments today.

And those are good goals... I think it's good to think about what you want *before* things gets crazy.

Love you, Girl!

there are so many great things about this post. the cute picture, o so sweet. the non-resolution goals, amen to the let down of resolutions. your goals are good ones, very attainable.
the tree, it makes me so excited to see how long you actually do keep your tree on your porch, i think this one will last a long while because i've seen the light in your eyes when you look at it. And. because of that big ass igloo you've got out there.
i can't believe it's only 8(9) weeks away, crazy and awesome!!!

I am the same way with my tree. I just took it down yesterday & that was only because it was just so cold outside I had to get busy in the house. I still have a lot of Christmas up & I am still enjoying my Christmas season.
You look great! We are all very excited for all of you.

I can't believe you're just 8ish/9ish week from Hollings arrival! So fun! Seriously girl, you look great! -- I'm SO jealous you still have your tree up. We took ours down before Christmas, b/c we were in FL. It's just not the same here without it!

Its easier and harder all in the same. The baby stuff...soooooo much easier. But then there is all the new "two" stuff. Its so wonderful yet so hard. Yet you are going to do so great!!! It really is so much fun with two!!!

I just cant believe it is so close. Ohhhhhh almost makes me want another.......almost!!

Plus, you are small but I am gonna go ahead and guess Hollings is pusshing 9 plus lbs. At birth. I remember how little you looked with BellaRose and how big she ended up being. You just do pregnancy beautifully I think!

That picture is PRECIOUS! You are quite precious too. When you take your tree down you can bring it over here and add it to our pile of 10 (yes from Guest Services!) and the boys can have fun making a huge bonfire that you can see from space I would imagine!...just hope we don't start a forest fire!

You and BellaRose are so cute in that picture. I don't mind being the 13th one to tell you that you look beautiful. You really do.
It's really cool to think about this special time you have with BR before the sweet little Hollings comes along. I cannot believe it is getting so close. Let me know when you are ready for some baby gear!
I know you will do newborn better than I did, although that's not saying alot.

I am with everyone else on how great you look pregnant. So very beautiful!

I love how much you adore your tree too.

And if there is any baby weight for you to lose, I know the best way to do just that! Can't wait til you can get back into classes!
