Gotcha!
Did you think that I was at the hospital? I am not sure why I think that is so funny or why I would think I would be tricking any of you!
I have this sign up to tell you that they have our hospital on flu lockdown! No one 18 or under is allowed in the hospital (unless they are admitted). This ban is in effect until the end of February and the doctor we saw the other day even thought it would go into March. This is heartbreaking because this means that BellaRose can't come see us in the hospital and meet this little sister we have been talking about so much. Not to mention the fact that I am just going to miss her so much. I know I could leave the hospital early, but I don't believe I will be that drastic. I know people have issues about hospitals, but not this girl. I am happy to have someone take care of me for a few days while I recover. I think technically only relatives are allowed to visit, but the doctor said that they are not as strict about that rule. If 10 people were in our room they might say something but not if there is a slow trickle of visitors. We LOVED having visitors when BellaRose was born (no pressure though, really). It felt so celebratory. I guess these are the issues that arise with having a baby in the winter. We will keep everyone posted if that ban is lifted but it is not looking so good. What also is not looking so good is the weather, although I am thrilled to get a ton more snow! It is winter and if it is going to be cold and dreary why not have the white stuff too, maybe even another foot! I just hope we will be able to make it to the hospital if that need arises. We fully expect to have Hollings in a snowstorm, I just don't want Worth to have to deliver her!

And here is something un-baby related to talk about, my new purse. This one is my favorite so far. You ask why I say "this one", well let me tell you this is my 3rd jcrew bag in as many months. What does a pregnant girl do with her birthday money, but buy an awesome purse to have for years and years until she notices that the stitching is coming out. I am not about to pay as much money as I paid for a purse and have the stitching come out, so I returned and got another, even better purse. I sort of like this, getting a new purse every month! Well I notice that the stitching was coming out on bag #2 and I am not having it so I return that one too! Jcrew (call center) was great about it and now I have this new awesome purse which is by far my favorite of the 3. I have noticed a bit of stitching doing weird things, but I am just hoping I don't have to return this one because I really like this one, and I am tired of the manager's glare at the store when I return the "damaged" purse. I just have vowed to become a better more savvy consumer. If a company really believes in their product then they will make it right for you. Jcrew has so far! I just wonder what the Purse Pixie would say about this bag?

Love the bag, I will take your consumer courage with me when I return my kitchen aid mixer after 5 years!
That is so hard about not having BellaRose with you at the hospital! I would hate that too! I hope this will be a march baby and then she can come! If not if you need Mama Becky to go love on her I will!

yeah for you returning things when they aren't correct- boo on the flu ban! I know you'll miss BR, but you'll need the rest to get ready to be a mommy to two- enjoy the break and just love on little Hollings one on one for a day or two!

We tried to eat in the hospital cafeteria with my niece and Buxton this past weekend since Ben's step-mom was there for surgery and they wouldn't let us past the front desk with the kids. Crazy! Better to be safe though. Hopefully those days will fly by for you and BRosey. Glad to hear you enjoy the hospital time too...I look forward to a 2nd just so I can get cared for like that. Love the bag and am proud of you for not keeping the damaged ones. Don't you feel like you had your bday 3 times!

Who is this purse pixie!!! I love her!

My greatest fear was delivering Rylie in a snow storm...on the drive to Durango. We were told every horror story in the book. But thankfully she was induced the night of the biggest snow storm of the year....phew...

nad enjoy your hospital time. It is sad BellaRose cant go meet her baby. But Rylie didnt come to the hospital when Wyatt was born, because it was an hour away AND because she doesnt do so well with mama laying in a hospital bed. She had good times with Uncle Gray and gaga.

It was so very good to hug her!!!

I didn't know all that about the bag. I like the new one!
I hate that about the hospital. I'm still hoping it will change by the time you guys are there. Let us know if you want us to sneak her in.

Purse Pixie loves it! I am all about some metallics and it has a flat bottom so it is beautiful and practical. I am glad that JCrew has tried to make it right and hope this one lasts better than the other two.

Thanks so much for the shout and hope you are doing well.

Our hospitals have the same rules right now. What a bummer. -- I love your 3rd purse!

you know I love the bag...best one yet ;) I think this post with the Hospital sign is so funny!! Now what are you going to do when you really go? That is hard about BR not being able to be there but she will have lots of people loving on her and you will get to be well taken care of and spend some great time with Hollings. Matt and I will do whatever we can to make that easier on you, k? Love you four!!

Boston hospitals had the ban earlier in the winter, not anymore. So maybe the ban will be lifted by the time Hollings arrives. Also, do not go home early, let someone take care of you for a while. Third, Liz was born in a snow storm, it all will be fine in the end. Now on the subject of the purse...I don't know anything about them...um...it looks shiny? I'm sure you look amazing with it though! =) Love you!!!
