A little help from your friends

There seems to be a lot to post but almost no where to start. We recently threw our neighbor and friend, Bill, a surprise 60th birthday. We had several surprises set up for him over a couple of days with different people coming in on different days. He was completely surprised and completely floored to say the least. I will post those pictures soon along with my dad's surprise party pictures.

I also need your help a little bit. Annie and I are participating in the Junior League of Asheville's Spring Market at the end of April. I have never done something like this and I am pretty anxious about it all. I am not sure how it will be beneficial other then getting my name out there, which I guess, is huge! Annie and I would love if you would come and see us over those 3 days. If you go to my facebook page you can print out a free coupon for entry into the Spring Market. I would like to blow up a few more prints pretty large and would love your opinion on what that image should be. You all know my pictures from here and from my photography blog and website. What pictures stand out to you and would make a great first impression? Also any advice would be greatly appreciated for anyone who has participated in something like this!

As I look at these pictures of my precious girls, I would be remiss if I did not mention my amazing grandma and her one year anniversary (yesterday) of her passing. I woke up yesterday with my heart heavy and tears in my eyes. It is hard to believe that I have not heard her voice in over a year, or that I have not touched those hands I loved so much. We carry her in our hearts always and I know she is loving my girls from heaven. They have so much of her in them, in their smile, and in their name, and in their spirit.

"Always remember, there is nothing worth sharing
Like the love that let us share our name"

ok- i did a show a few years ago and just be ready for LONG days- it was so fun...but long days! line up some people to come bring you food/ drink, etc because you really can't leave your booth...do you have some type of card they can pick up...i'm thinking like a 5x7 with info and images- both wedding and casual....of course any pic of your girls would be adorable, but I'm first thinking of those kids from ATL with the blue eyes...or the ones at the stables????? GOOD LUCK this is awesome!!!

This is a hard task as ALL your pictures are wonderful. I am trying to think about something that will spark emotion like maybe a newborn picture...you have so many great ones! And who can resist a newborn baby :)

my favorite pics are of your family from max patch. and of ben's wedding. i may choose those b/c i know the people in them (and love those people!) but honestly any pics you choose will rock their socks off. good luck! and just another connection we have due to our wonderful grandma's...mine would have been 92 this weekend (the 3rd), just 4 days after your grandma's passing date. and those girls of yours are outta control gorgeous.

That is such a tough call! I just spent 15 minutes on your website trying to pick my favorites. I love the one of Ben and Julie where Julie is looking at the camera. Also the one of the family on the wicker chair where everyone is laughing. And then I definitely think you should do that one of BR with the mountains behind her. It's on your sidebar. It's gorgeous. So, those are my top 3, but I forgot to look at the newborn ones. Margaret is probably right about those...Can't wait to see you and Annie's stuff together. I will come by to see it and bring you guys some good food. Place your orders now.

I was thinking about doing the picture of Salem on the beach looking through the sand with the family in the back. People have responded to that one well and it would be a cool family shot. I have a newborn album of Beckett, a family album from my photo shoot in Greenville. I also did blow up that picture of BellaRose at Max Patch like you also said. It is on 16x20 canvas.

Oh wow, yes, so beautiful. I think that one is probably a better example of your style than the family one I was thinking of, even though I love that one too.
