What's in a week...

...a whole lot of love!
Our little Hollings is a week old now. Hard to believe. I know I will say that her whole life, as I am saying the same thing about BellaRose's life.
Hollings has been a complete dream. We feel so blessed by her. I am sure you know but I was pretty nervous to bring a newborn baby home. It was SO hard with BellaRose, we were in-experienced and completely sleep deprived, healing was tough, BellaRose was fussier and I just thought that is how all newborns were. This time we are calmer, rested even, and know what to expect a little more. We have gone out to eat. It feels good to feel normal. Hollings hardly fusses unless there is a need, healing is not as dramatic, things are just easier. I know we are only a week in, and I know things can change at a moments notice, but so far so good. We have been so blessed by your visits and your calls and your love, it has meant the world to us!
BellaRose is doing amazing! She has her moments where she needs the attention and where she needs to just be 2.5. She takes such good of baby sister. As you can see in one of the pictures below she is patting her belly and looking at the mylicon bottle. So sweet. She gets a little freaked out when Hollings cries and says it is too loud. I wish she could have heard herself cry! That was loud.
Hollings had her one week appt. last week and she is almost up to her birth weight so they gave us the freedom to let her sleep at night and we don't have to wake her. That is wonderful news!
Here are a whole lot of pictures from our week. It is difficult to narrow them down!

OG and the girls

BellaRose being a cowgirl! My dreams would come true!

The Mountain Buggy!
Holding her head up like a big girl!

Sweet sweet sisters.

My sister pointed out to me the other day that I said something about "my girls" and how neat that sounded, and it really is neat! It fills me with pride to say "my girls". Like I said with BellaRose these girls are my heart!

What great pictures! Hollings is sooo tiny! I forget how small they are when they come out (wait, maybe that's cause mine was never that small...haha!). So glad to hear it's all going so well. It sounds like a totally different experience this time around. It's good to hear BR is adjusting so well too. I love the cowgirl picture, it made me laugh out loud! All seems well in the Grant household. Again, we are just so happy for you guys.

This is such a sweet sweet post. Hollings is a doll!!! What a gorgeous teeny weeny little girl. It was so nice seeing you guys today and getting to spend some quality time with sweet BR reading in her room. Hollings barely let out a peep and was just so content. You and Worth are wonderful parents and we love you all soooo much!!!

The mountain buggy looks so cool! We will have to help you use it this summer.

I love this post. BR is so cute in her cowgirl hat! -- What wonderful news that being of mother of two is going better than you expected. Hollings is just beautiful. And, I love the pic of BR on the changing table with Hollings - they are adorable together.

Sunday I'm so sorry I'm way behind in my comments b/c we just got back from Utah and sweet girl was born while we were there. Congrats on a healthy and wonderful baby and I'm so glad to hear that your first week has been smooth. You guys are old pros at this now and really really great parents to boot! These pics are fantastic and had me in tears. I am so excited for the next week. Much love from Ben, Buxton and I

How in the world are you able to narrow those photos down! I love them all.. just precious! And I am so glad things are going so well this time.. and it seems "easier". That is so great! I'm sure a lot of people are really scared to have two for that very reason!

I can't get over that dark hair either! Can't wait to see her in person! We are hoping to visit in April!
