I like to connect myself to the day my children are born, you know besides the obvious facts of carrying them inside my body (which I still don't get!) and delivering them.
With BellaRose she was born on the 22nd of May and I am the 22nd of Rocktober. There is the connection, plus it might make it easier for Worth to remember our birthdays. I was hoping Hollings would be born on the 22nd too, but we all know that did not happen. What did happen is she was born on a Sunday (see where I am going with this?). I was born on a Sunday, thus my name is Sunday, well Domenica which is Sunday in Italian and also Hollings' middle name! So there you go another connection!
I have to share these pictures below because I just can't get them out of my mind. The top one was taken her first week home and the bottom one was taken when she was 20 weeks old inside the momma. SO wild, I mean look at the little top lip and the chin, not to mention the nose. It is amazing that a picture like that was taken while she was living in my belly. Technology is pretty amazing, just like my iPod touch and Kindle app. (goodness I am making connections all over the place today and using a lot of parenthesis) , that helps me out a ton during midnight feedings!

Hope today is going well! Thinking of ya!
love connections! = )
Paul also downloaded the kindle app on his blackberry and he loves it too! I still not sure if I would like it over a real book.. there is just somethng about having the book in my hands that I really like.. and I'm a fan of hardbacks too! weird I know..
i was thinking the same thing courtney but i thought i would try it. i don't turn the reading light on when i am feeding at night so i could not do a book. paul is actually how i discovered the app. he wrote about it on FB.
jess, today is going great! it helped going on a walk with becky and niki and all the little ladies!
I love the thought of connections to "birth days". I never thought of that. Hmmm, I'll have to find one for Noah. It's funny because when I saw Hollings for the first time, she was just as I had pictured her, because of the ultrasound picture! It is amazing how that was only taken at 20 weeks! She continues to grow more beautiful with each post.
PS- How are you awake enough to read during midnight feedings?!?
Oh I love stuff like that! Very cool, I know you are connected to your girls in so many ways!
That is cool with the two pictures seeing her sweet little profile, it is still so weird to me that she was in there looking like that all along! Having babies is weird:)
I actually slept in the chair while my babies nursed at night. Reading a book sounds good though!
Thanks for the blog comment.
The picture comparison is amazing!

I wish the kindle app had been around 6 months ago, but I read a bunch anyway, that made things so much easier for me, too.
That is so cool to see how much Hollings already looked like herself. She has such an adorable profile! It was so good to see you on Monday. We are definitely up for some walking this spring!
that is amazing.
love the connections you made, you have a lot of time to reflect so you can get all deep with us.
it's great.
